She worked for the owners of a top performing office assisting them as well as developing her own clientele base. In 1989, during an inspection of property she met the owner of another real estate office also in Beverly Hills, who offered Lauren $12,000 to become a full time agent at her office. Eventually Lauren's talents were noticed by Coldwell Banker and in 1992 she was offered the position of Associate Manager for the #1 Office for Coldwell Banker Worldwide. In fact she had the privilege of working directly under Betty Graham, who was then the Office Manager and is now the President & Chief Operating Officer for Coldwell Banker/Greater Los Angeles.

While working as an Associate Manager she assisted with office meetings, was a member of the steering committee, mentored new agents and taught contract classes. She also wrote the manual "The Paperwork Required for a Transaction." This type of knowledge translates to important representation and piece of mind for her clients. After all being a real estate agent is more than procuring a buyer.

PACIFIC PALISADESIn 1996 Lauren married Dr. Gary Polan, an Optometrist in Pacific Palisades. She transfered from the Beverly Hills office of Coldwell Banker to their Pacific Palisades office. She is no longer an Associate Manager, devoting all of her experience and extensive knowledge to her clients. "I love living and working in Pacific Palisades.
